Battery report files
When you select a Windows battery-report HTML file, the checker reads it locally in your web browser. The file and its contents are not uploaded to or stored on our web server by the checker. The selected file remains in browser memory only for the current page session and is cleared when you reset or leave the page.
Information a web server may record
Like most websites, our hosting provider may create standard security and access logs. These may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, referring page, date, time and response status. Such logs help deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate technical problems.
Cookies and measurement
At launch, the core battery checker does not require an account or set a tool-specific tracking cookie. If analytics, advertising or consent services are introduced, this policy and the site controls will be updated before those services are used where required.
Contact email
If you email us, we receive the address, message and any information you voluntarily provide. We use it to answer your request, prevent abuse and maintain a reasonable record of correspondence. Do not attach a battery report unless you understand and accept that email is different from the local checker.

We link to official documentation and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Data choices
You can use manual capacity entry instead of selecting a report. You can also block non-essential browser storage through browser settings. To ask about correspondence you previously sent, contact us at hello@batteryhealthlab.com.

We may revise this policy when site features or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
